We base local moving on an hourly rate, and then charge in 15 minute intervals, rather than rounding to the next hour.
Your time begins when the movers show up, introduce themselves, and begin moving your furniture. It ends whenever you would like to. Typically moves end when each item of furniture is placed where the customer would like it to go.
Sat, Sun, and holidays carry no extra charge. Same rates, same service. We also don’t pass the costs of overtime to customers either..
Rate for two men:
$75 an hour
Rate for three men:
$105 an hour
It’s wise to request even more than 3 movers for jobs that are very large. Because the extra men are discounted, having extra men not only saves you time, but money as well.
